Installation & Setup
How do I install the tracker on my vehicle?
Trial period (7 days): You can install the tracker yourself in Plug & Play mode. Simply connect the tracker to an OBD-II port or to the 12V/24V power supply. A detailed installation guide is provided with each device.
Permanent installation: At the end of the trial period, permanent installation must be carried out by one of our certified experts to ensure an optimal and discreet connection.
Does the tracker work on all vehicles?
Yes, our trackers work on all vehicles equipped with 12V or 24V power: cars, vans, trucks, motorcycles, construction equipment, etc. Compatible with all manufacturers.
Can I install the tracker myself?
Yes, during the free 7-day trial period, you can install the tracker yourself in Plug & Play mode. Once the trial period is over, permanent installation must be performed by an EasyTrack certified expert to ensure a permanent, discreet and secure connection.
Platform Usage
How do I access my tracking platform?
Log in at my.easytrack.ch with your credentials. The platform is accessible from any web browser and on mobile.
What is the location accuracy?
GPS accuracy is 2 to 5 meters under normal conditions. The tracker also uses the cellular network for optimized location even in areas with limited GPS coverage.
How often are positions updated?
In driving mode, positions are transmitted every 10 to 30 seconds. In parking mode, an update is sent periodically or when any movement is detected.
Coverage & Network
Does the tracker work abroad?
Yes! The included SIM card is multi-network and works throughout Europe: Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Austria and the entire European Union. The system automatically connects to the best available operator.
What happens in areas without network?
The tracker has internal memory that stores positions. As soon as the network is found, all data is automatically synchronized with the platform.
Does the tracker work in underground parking?
GPS may be limited underground, but the tracker records the last known position and resumes tracking upon exit. Cellular connectivity often allows maintaining a connection.
Subscription & Billing
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payments by VISA, Mastercard, Twint and bank transfer. Billing is exclusively annual.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes, the subscription is a 12-month commitment with annual billing. You benefit from a free 7-day trial period with Plug & Play installation to test the service without commitment before subscribing.
Can I add new vehicles?
Yes, you can order new trackers at any time directly from your customer portal. Pay online, then schedule an appointment with one of our certified experts for installation. For vehicle removals, contact our team to adjust your subscription.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. All data is encrypted (SSL/TLS) and stored on a secure, distributed infrastructure. We are GDPR compliant and adhere to Swiss data protection standards.
Who can access my fleet data?
Only users authorized by your company have access to the data. You control access rights and can create multiple accounts with different permissions.
How long is data retained?
Trip history is retained for 12 months by default. Extended archiving options are available upon request.

My tracker is no longer transmitting, what should I do?
If your vehicle has been stationary for a long period, the tracker's internal backup battery may have drained. Simply drive for a few minutes to reactivate the tracker — it will automatically recharge via the vehicle's power supply. If the problem persists after driving, check the tracker connection and contact our support.
